Have you ever come across a quote that just seems to fit your life?
Ashleigh Brilliant wrote one for me.
‘My life has a superb cast but I can’t figure out the plot.’
Ashleigh Brilliant
Well, he didn’t exactly write it for me, but about me, although we’ve never met and he didn’t know it was about me. But it totally is.
I say totally because I’m a Californian and the mother of daughters who infected me with Valley Girl.
Still he captured exactly what I feel about my life.
The real beauty of life is that none of us knows the plot to our own.
Moses wrote, “We spend our years as a tale that is told.”
I love that.
My life is sometimes crazy—in a good way, but the cast is SUPERB and there’s enough comic relief to keep it from ever crossing the line into tragedy. Farce is more likely, but fortunately I watched enough I Love Lucy to know how to smuggle a French cheese baby onto a plane or fake productivity by gobbling chocolates.
