A Prayer for Ourselves

Selflessness is Christlike.
That’s what we see in this Proverbs 31 woman.
We see Christ.
Loving people.
Doing God’s work at home.

Today I happened upon a verse, a prayer actually.
A simple request.

Remember me, O my God, for good.
Nehemiah 13:31

Nehemiah was a lot like our Proverbs 31 woman.
He was on a mission for God.
He was building something great.
Something worthwhile.
And he ask God to remember him for good.

The Bible tells us that God doesn’t forget our labors of love.
Love for Him.
Love for people who need our love.

He remembers us for good.

He remembers you’re on a mission for Him.
He remembers you’re building something great.
Something worthwhile.

He remembers you for good.

Every day I look for God to touch my life. That intersection of the divine and the daily is what I write about here at A Really Full Life.

  1. Thank you for the reminder.Sometimes I think everything is just crazy and will never be “good”. My intention is to follow Him and build something great as He directs!

    1. Eccles. 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Just keep walking by faith, one step at a time, and He will show you the beauty in His time. I know you trust Him:)
