New Twenty Thirteen Theme

Don’t you love a new theme?

I do, except for the backlash of damage to previous posts.
The photos seem to migrate, but the text gets distorted and ends up alongside a photo or diced up and sprinkled around the photos. Just like this text.

Is this operator error?
Am I alone in my suffering?

Plus I changed themes for two reasons:

I made a critical error; I didn’t backup the previous customized theme.
Poof.
Gone.

And, I can’t figure out how to use the Genericons.
So, I really was Genericon’d.

If I can’t figure this out I’ll have to go back and ask Adele to be my theme again.
