It's one big job made up of a million little ones. You've got this!

It's the secret sauce for your Christian life.

She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
Proverbs 31:26

Your children need wisdom if they’re to grow into the adults God is expecting.
Foolishness takes up most of the real estate in their young hearts and minds.
They are most open to receiving wisdom when it’s been candy-coated in kindness.

And you, Mom, are at the very heart of God’s plan to deliver both before it’s too late.

She’s a fountain of wisdom in an ocean of kindness.

Parenting is a long, very long assignment.
It challenges our resources of physical and mental energy.
It makes demands on our character.
It’s a paradox of joy and frustration, of laughter and tears, of purpose and futility.

And it’s the most meaningful, wonderful, significant endeavor most women will ever undertake.

We’ve been in Proverbs 31 for about three weeks now.
This amazing woman has wowed us with her dedication to her husband, her industry and economy, her philanthropy and compassion, and her organization and time-management skills.

But today, today we come to the heart of what she is and does that so enriches her family.

When she speaks, her words are wise, and kindness is the rule for everything she says.
Proverbs 31:26 Living Bible

If you need more wisdom or kindness just ask.
God is generous with both.
He’s already offered.

~ If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
James 1:5

~ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Galatians 5:22

~ Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,
Colossians 3:12

Today, as I write this, all of you young mothers are in my heart and prayers.
It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the non-stop demands that are part of your everyday life.
I want to encourage you to keep in mind the importance of what you’re doing;
the central reason for your sacrifices.

You are partnering with God to shape lives.
We say we value motherhood in America, but it doesn’t always feel that way to moms.
Most of us feel insignificant and unimportant.
We feel excluded in a culture that measures success by earnings and equates importance with prominence.

Some of you are reaching the end of your long assignment.
Others are just at the beginning.
Wherever you are, God is right there with you.
He never intended you do this in your own strength, or with your own wisdom.
It only takes a moment to call on Him, to receive from Him.

Reach out if you need encouragement and support.
The Body of Christ is suppose to be a channel, a conduit, of God’s love.
Let some other moms around you help share your struggle and carry your burden.
Share a prayer request in the comments section if you’d like.
I’d love to pray for you and your family.
