Mindset Moment🙂 Sipping my faux London Fog and looking at my shell collection I noticed my thoughts take a negative turn from gratitude to grumbling. I’m missing the ocean was my first thought. The I closed my eyes and remembered a beautiful day on the Oregon coast. I heard the surf crashing and felt the salt spray on my cheeks. I heard sea birds call and the laughter of children playing in the foamy puddles. My spirit filled with awe at the goodness of God’s creation, His gifts and I felt worship, praise and thanksgiving bubble up and flow from my heart. We choose the set of our mental sails. I pray while doing dishes and changing sheets or folding laundry. I think it’s a hangover from my busy mommy years when there wasn’t a lot of free quiet time for spiritual pursuits.
