My faith journey

Local Avon Lady drops by with little tubes of lipstick and the Good News that God loves me.

1971

After almost 13 years of walking with Jesus I go off the rails.
The only good thing about backsliding is I'm now terrified
of ever doing it again.

1983

I marry my Mr. Right who's really Mr. Grace. Really! God sets us both on an incredible path of joy and blessing in serving Him.

1985

We move to Elk Grove in northern California and soon start a church. We get stretched and our faith grows like crazy. We get front row seats to watch God do a beautiful thing among a growing group of believers at Calvary Chapel Laguna Creek.

1990

And just when we think the most important things we'll do in God's plan are behind us. . .He opens a new and completely unexpected door. We go to Ghana, West Africa to start a Bible Training Centre.

2000

Me at
the wheel

see, dreams do come true! crazy, huh?

We go back to Ghana for me to speak at Women's Conferences. The hardest travel and the most fun I've ever had!

2014

We head to Ghana  for more Conferences and Village ministry, but first we tramped around France for a month eating the most delicious food imaginable and seeing everything but the Riviera.
Is there anything more fun than travel with your best friend?

2015

The Pandemic changes life for everyone. We're seniors, I have asthma. We stay sequestered, but in the quiet God's voice is more easily heard. He has something new for me to do.

My old neglected blog gets a Glow Up ✨ and I launch Divine Connections Podcast 🎙to celebrate half a century of walking with Jesus!
Season 1 debuts with the 13 most valuable lessons He's taught me in the past 50 years. Finding Your Way Back Into Hope is the most downloaded episode of all.
