Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband too, and he praises her:
“Many women have done excellently,
but you surpass them all.”
Proverbs 31:28-29

What more could a woman want than to know that her husband and children think she’s the best?

Her beliefs, her attitudes, and all she does grow out of her fear of the LORD.

The book of Proverbs was written to give us practical wisdom for daily living.
And a life of reverence and humility before God will always result in wisdom and wisdom offers its own rewards.

Blessed is the one who finds wisdom,
and the one who gets understanding,
for the gain from her is better than gain from silver
and her profit better than gold.
She is more precious than jewels,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.
Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
and all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her;
those who hold her fast are called blessed.
Proverbs 3:13-18

Single women or those that don’t have kids will also find wisdom in this wonderful final chapter.
Proverbs 31 gives us a picture of a woman capable of supporting herself and still helping others.
She’s energetic, industrious, and capable.

Any modern woman can find in her both inspiration and example.
