Photo for Kiore Moana About Widget

I’m a little confused as to whether or not we’re suppose to post our Day 8 assignment.  
Since I’m getting ready to leave for Africa I’m posting so I can quit deliberating and get on with my packing!
I bought the Kiore Moana theme a few weeks ago because I was enchanted with the little stick pin that opens a nice About Page and features all the other widgets that are typically in a sidebar.  The page has continuous scroll.
This assignment pointed out the fact that I now have two About sections and also the blip that appears at the bottom of every post.
Information Overload.

I did learn a new trick: configuring a transparent PNG for the widget.
I’d never done that before.  I use a Mac and did it in Preview.  

I’ll try to correct this next week while waiting in an airport with Wi-Fi.
