On this beautiful Saturday I’m giving thanks for life.
For my life.
And yours.
Currently I’m trying to get permission to read to Seniors in several local Assisted Living Centers.
I’ll read stories, but I’ll also hear them.
The life stories, told in snippets and out of order, but carrying the passion, joys and heartaches of those who lived them.
Have you ever wanted to write your life story? I know you do 😉 You share it in bits and pieces on your blog and probably in everyday life.
If the video inspired you to begin, then here are two articles that might help you find a starting point.
Or you can just follow Dickens’ example:
THE PERSONAL HISTORY AND EXPERIENCE OF DAVID COPPERFIELD THE YOUNGER
CHAPTER 1. I AM BORN
Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else, these pages must show. To begin my life with the beginning of my life, I record that I was born (as I have been informed and believe) on a Friday, at twelve o’clock at night. It was remarked that the clock began to strike, and I began to cry, simultaneously.

If you read this blog very often you know that I’m passionate about living a life that matters. Because I’m a Christian I have a focus on the eternal, on a life that matters beyond this life.
This video is from a Thai Insurance Company. It’s beautifully done and shows the influence a single life can have on many others. No grand gestures, just simple kindness and thoughtfulness.
I want to do more of that.
Let’s all do more of that.

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you. . .
