How many apps can I fit on my iPhone?
Is there a 12 step program for App Addicts?
I can’t resist a Free App.
Especially when they’re easy to use and do something I need done, like add text to images.
Skitch is my newest favorite.
I like creating my own visual content, but I’m no Graphic Designer. I just want to be able to add text to a photo, or maybe a simple drawing that helps to get my point across. Text can transform an otherwise blah shot and help it tell a bigger story. Like these Italian turtles I photographer on Lake Como. They were on vacation and fighting for a place in the sun on an old piling.
I’d like to know what comes to your mind when you look at this photo?
What caption would you have given it?
What are your favorites for blogging? Do you use any for writing or photography?
Organization Tips
I’m not joking that I’ve run out of room on my iPhone Home screen. I finally had to make little folders and group like apps together so I didn’t have to scroll through 7 screens to find the one I was looking for. And there’s a bonus to this method. I found some I’d downloaded and forgotten about. Some like, Waterlogue are really cool. It turns any image into a watercolor look. I took a picture of a Guest bedroom in my home and then used the app. It’s gorgeous. Like an interior scene John Singer Sargent might have painted while visiting my home. 🙂
