Fireworks Photo Serendipity

We live on a Golf Course and tonight they invited members to bring any leftover Fireworks and add to the Club’s planned display.

We walked out across the very dark course toward the Driving Range where the show was in progress.
I took my camera, but had failed to check the setting or take a flashlight.

As it happened, my Nikon was set on the action feature. I think I’d been photographing the kids when I last used it. They’re always in motion!!!

I’m a Photography Neanderthal with a Cowboy mentality.
I point and shoot.

Not a clue how I got these dramatic images.
I don’t know what I did wrong, or right.
I’m thrilled that I got some cool photos and managed not to fall into a bunker or walk into a tree on the way back home.

Our kids had come for games and a swim. And BONUS, my daughter brought strawberries, cookies, and ice cream.
I’m thankful for the warm and wonderful family that surrounds me with love and brings such deep joy into my life.

I hope you had a chance this weekend to be with those you care for most.
The ones who light up your life with sparkly love 😉
