God Sees and Knows All

 That freaks us out a little, doesn’t it! Like our ancestors, Adam & Eve, many of us grab for our fig leaves and duck behind the trees thinking we can hide from God. We fear His scrutiny.There came a time when I learned that if I was going to experience real spiritual growth as a believer, I was going to have to get comfortable with God’s all-seeing and all-knowing nature. 

A Pro-Tip From David

In Psalm 139 David goes into great detail about how intimately God knows him. His thoughts and habits, and even the things he’ll say. David fully embraces God’s knowledge and then takes it a step further by asking God to search his heart and know all of his anxious thoughts. He prays that God will seek out anything that’s offensive and lead David along the path of everlasting life. 

He Knows Us Fully ~ Yet He Loves Us Completely

A.W. Tozer points out that “He knew us utterly before we knew Him and called us to Himself in the full knowledge of everything that was against us. . .” In other words, He knew the worst of us and loved us anyway.
